My ‘Anti-Process’ Process

I am anti-agency to my core, so when I hear the word “process,” I instantly cringe. I don’t think it’s productive or beneficial to mold a client’s workflow to what I think is best. I mold my workflow to fit your organization's current day-to-day.

Because, realistically, you don’t have time to conform to a new process simply for the sake of getting a project done.

In 2012, I packed what would fit in my four-door sedan and drove from Portland, Maine to San Francisco without an apartment or a job but a desire to “work in marketing.”

I found a room for rent just outside the Tenderloin and after sending upwards of 100 resumes, eventually landed a job at an advertising agency.

I very quickly learned that a lot of marketing is, well, bullshit.
